NERR&R Spay and Neuter Program
On a case by case basis, NERR&R’s Spay and Neuter program helps low income
Rottweiler owners living in the geographic area in which NERR&R rescues and rehomes pay for spaying
or neutering their Rottweiler. Our goal is to help people keep their Rotties and to remove the possibility
of the dogs accidentally being bred.
NERR&R’s program pays up to $250 toward spaying and up to $150 toward neutering your Rottweiler.
The program has limited funding.

Notification of the status of your application will be sent to you via email or through the postal service
as soon as possible. If your request is approved, payment will be made directly to the veterinarian.
NERR&R’s program is available to Rottweiler owners living in RI, CT, MA, NH, VT, ME (except for Aroostook,
Piscataquis and Washington Counties), northern NJ (above I-80), and limited areas in southeastern NY (Putnam
County, Orange County east of 87, and Dutchess County south and east of Poughkeepsie).
If you live outside this geographic area, send us an application for financial aide
for another breed of dog, and/or request help for anything other than spaying or neutering, we will not
respond.
